Maryhaven Transition Information
Ensuring Continuity of Care in Delaware & Morrow Counties
The Delaware-Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board (DMMHRSB) has been notified that Maryhaven intends to discontinue services in Delaware and Morrow Counties, with most of the services ending by May 15, 2026.
We understand that news like this can be unsettling — especially if you or a loved one currently receive care from Maryhaven.
Please know: you are not alone, and services will remain available in Delaware and Morrow counties. Our Board is actively working with provider partners to ensure continuity of care and a smooth transition for every person impacted.
What This Means for Current Clients
If you are currently receiving services through Maryhaven:
You may choose any behavioral health provider that best meets your needs.
We strongly encourage you to schedule an appointment with a new provider as soon as possible to prevent any gap in counseling, psychiatry, or medication services.
If you would like your treatment records sent to a new provider, you will need to complete a Release of Information (ROI) form and submit it to Maryhaven. You can find the form here.

The Delaware-Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board is working diligently to ensure an orderly and compassionate transition of care for current Maryhaven clients.
Delaware and Morrow counties have multiple providers offering high-quality mental health and substance use treatment services, including:
Outpatient counseling
Psychiatry and medication management
Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT)
Case management
Crisis services
Residential and intensive outpatient programs
Our team can help you identify options that fit your insurance, location, and clinical needs. Available providers for services in Delaware and Morrow Counties include:
Southeast Healthcare provides person-centered, integrated healthcare including mental health, substance use, and physical healthcare services. This includes counseling for adults, youth, and families, early psychosis intervention (EPI), vocational services, psychiatry for adults and children, crisis services, case management, re-entry services, rapid engagement, assertive community treatment (ACT), and Medically-Assisted Treatment (MAT). Southeast’s MAT teams will offer walk-in hours Monday through Friday from 9 to 11 a.m. beginning Monday, March 23. Clients can visit their Delaware office at 824 Bowtown Road or their Mt. Gilead office located at 950 Meadow Drive, Suite D. Southeast Healthcare is also utilizing a Transition Coordinator to aid Maryhaven clients in their transition. Syntero provides person-centered, trauma-informed mental health and substance use disorder counseling for all populations including children, adolescents, and adults. Syntero also offers psychiatry/medication management, case management, school-based services, and aging supportive services. Syntero provides walk-in services for children and adolescents in Delaware and Morrow Counties during scheduled hours.
