The June edition of The Reset: Recapping Peer Fest and Syntero names its next CEO
It’s been a busy four weeks here at the Delaware-Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board, but we have everything you need to catch up on the local behavioral health community with the June edition of our monthly newsletter The Reset.
In the latest edition, we have a recap and some photos from the first Peer Fest, an event co-organized by our Board to celebrate and bring awareness to the work of certified peer supporters, a critical and growing part of the behavioral health continuum. Peer Fest even earned statewide news coverage on Today from the Ohio Newsroom, a daily news segment that airs on public radio stations around Ohio. And Otto the therapy dog made an appearance!
We also introduce you to the next CEO of Syntero, which contracts with the Delaware-Morrow Mental Health and Recovery Services Board to provide mental health, substance abuse, and prevention services for youth and families. Spoiler alert: the next CEO is a familiar face to us and Syntero.
We also help you meet a Board member, give you some tips on maintaining your mental health over summer break, and let you know about some upcoming events around our community.
For the most up-to-date information, you can follow us on Facebook and Instagram. You can also find all of our “I’ll Go First” videos on our YouTube channel, and we welcome the public at any of our monthly Board meetings. Click here for details.
